At  Sól Support we believe disability support is about creating meaningful relationships, bringing calm to families, and offering care that genuinely makes life easier.

We support women, children, and families navigating disability with a compassionate, emotionally attuned, and family-centred approach.

We are looking for support workers who are kind, proactive, grounded, and deeply care about the wellbeing of others.

If you value connection, emotional safety, community, and making a real difference in people’s lives, we would love to hear from you.

Our Approach

We understand that disability impacts more than the individual - it often affects the nervous system, emotional wellbeing, and day-to-day capacity of the whole family.

Our support workers are encouraged to:

  • Lead with compassion and patience

  • Support emotional safety and co-regulation

  • Take initiative and notice practical ways to ease the load for families

  • Build trust through genuine connection

  • Respect each participant’s autonomy and individuality

  • Bring warmth, presence, and reliability into the home

We value support that is both practical and deeply human.

Who We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you are:

✓ Kind, warm and emotionally intelligent
✓ Reliable and self-led
✓ Comfortable supporting women, children and families
✓ Able to take initiative without needing constant direction
✓ Calm and grounded in challenging moments
✓ Passionate about genuine care and relationship-based support
✓ Aligned with values of compassion, community, sustainability and holistic wellbeing

Experience in disability support, trauma-informed care, child development, emotional regulation or allied health is highly valued - but above all, we value the right heart and attitude.
